1760

Antoine GRISET set up the original foundry in the "Marais" district of Paris, which was completed by the next generation with a rolling activity.

1825

The production was moved to 123 rue Oberkampf in Paris 11th arrondissement. In this location was rolled the Platinum bar which was used for the production of the "Standard Meter" presently exhibited at the "Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers" in Paris.

1880

First industrial rolling trials of a new metal called Aluminium.

1920

Inauguration of the Aubervilliers plant equipped with heavy finishing rolling mill, and a Copper and Aluminium foundry supplying material for reroll until 1953.

1968

Creation of CFFL (Company Française de Fonderie et de Laminage) in Issy les Moulineaux (suburbs of Paris) in association with the GEVELOT Company, which took over the production of Copper, Brass and Phosphor Bronze material for reroll.

1975

Construction by GRISET Design Department of the Villers Saint-Paul factory with a foundry and a hot rolling shop. This finalises the complete autonomy of GRISET.
The GRISET ENGINEERING Department was born.

1997 GRISET ENGINEERING executes a new finishing plant as an extension of the Villers Saint-Paul site. The plant of Aubervilliers is definitively closed.
1998 GRISET is bought by the DIEHL Group of Nürnberg, new investments are decided to extend GRISET foundry capacity further.
